Happy Smiles to you! My name is Trenee' and I would like to share our story.
Many years back while working as a Registered Nurse I was transferred to Children's Oncology, and my heart really went out to those children.
They didn't want cookies, candies or treats...so after a lot of thought I decided to make a Hospital Buddy™ for them to cuddle and stay by their side.
His arms are reaching up for love and hugs, he listens to everything you tell him and doesn't judge or ever share any secrets to anyone else!
I got some nursing friends to help out and we just loved our project, especially when we saw the love, comfort, joy, and peace it brought to the kiddos. They missed their parents when told visiting hours were over, or when parents had to work--and were having trouble sleeping. Now with their Buddy at their side they could sleep well and take him with them wherever they went, even radiation Dept since no metal is.
Very soon people all over the hospital were asking to get one and we were a little overwhelmed, so we are asking for your help.
We do have Buddies for sale, but also please consider providing a Buddy for children who can't afford them, or providing life-saving medications or treatment.
Many families are barely getting by with all the medical bills and we don't want to leave any child out!
